If you ordered a pair of our trailing arm brackets within the past year you might have noticed that they look slightly different than the original design.
With the support of you all (thank you) we’ve been able to upgrade the manufacturing process to more closely match what BMW does.
The side plates where the bolts pass through are stamped. This allows you to use your BMW supplied hardware. This is great because the head of the bolt is closer to the center of the trailing arm bushing. This gets you more toe adjustment before the bracket assembly will contact the inside of the pocket.
Now all of the welds are done by machine. This allows for a consistent appearance and consistent clearance in the pocket facing surfaces.
